Arrived

So me and Bob made it across Canada with no speeding tickets or having the car broken into [although Thunder Bay was really sketchy]. Spent some time in Penticton, but now we're finally here in Vancouver. We're off to see the fireworks in English Bay tonight. Last Wednesday's were really good. Missed the Saturday ones, because we were in Penticton. God, that town gets packed for the August long weekend. But it was so worth going there. We floated down the channel between Lake Okanagan and Skaha Lake. It was so relaxing, and I got to work on my tan :-)

I can't believe all the sun we've been getting in Vancouver. Like since we got here two Saturdays ago. I bought a new umbrella before we drove out west, but haven't had to use it in Van yet! It's so nice to see mountains, and ocean, and old friends... I know, I'm sorry I haven't seen most of you yet, I will get around to it!
